Why and under what conditions use a secure storage ?

Whatever your situation, whether you are moving, going on a mission abroad or have an apartment that is too small, you will need to find a solution to store your belongings. Whether you are a private individual or a professional, storage can be a simple way to keep your belongings safe.

You will have to establish a contract with your service provider. This contract will mention your commitments, those of the mover as well as the terms of compensation in case of loss or damage. You are obliged to insure your goods. Consult your home or business insurance policies, which may cover goods placed in storage.

 When you sign the contract, you will have to provide a certificate. If necessary, the mover will offer you a specific insurance policy through a partner broker. You can evaluate your storage needs based on the size of your home and the size of the items to be stored there. This evaluation is obviously approximate: bedroom or studio (5 to 10 boxes), T1 (10 to 15 boxes), T2 (15 to 25),... 

If you are a professional and wish to have a place to keep your company objects, the choice of self storage seems to be the most adapted solution (since you can access it whenever you want). Moreover, depending on the nature of the stored goods, targeted services are proposed. 

The access can be facilitated to save time (direct access box), the boxes are specific (ventilated, storage of wines, archives) according to the stored material... Some providers even propose a domiciliation. In this case, you will be able to domicile your company in their premises during a given period (office rental, reception and shipment of goods, postage of mail).
